Berraco del Madidi is an EcoCamp located in the Bolivia rainforest of Madidi National Park. We devote to ecoturism and conservation of our region, specializing in multi-day tours.
Berraco EcoCamp is located deeper than any other operator in our National Park, creating the possibility for our guests to feel the real jungle, and not just to appreciate it from the suburbs.
Berraco del Madidi has extensive experience in hosting families and guests of all ages. Our top-range equipment and first-aid training ensures the safety of our youngest and oldest guests. To learn more about our safety compromise, visit the Mission,Vision and Values page.
We promise a personalized service, offering accommodation only to a maximum of eight guests at the same time, providing them private huts built with the traditional style. We also offer the option to share cabins for families or big groups of friends, with previous comunication.
According to our compromise of offering personalized service, all the programs are flexible, adapting them to the interest of our guests. So, we don't want you to feel in the obligation of doing any activity that you wouldn't like to, even if some members of your group want; we offer another guide to stay with you and make a different activity according to your interest.
The adventure activities we offer includes guided hiking, fishing, survival skills, local craft made and medicinal plants knowledge, traditional rafting, birdwatching and community tours. Descriptions of each activities can be found under Our Trips section. All EcoCamp tours are led by professional indigenous guides.
While the adventures are exhausting sometimes, our EcoCamp is relaxing and comfortable. The EcoCamp is naturally integrated into the surrounding primary rainforest through the use of local materials. We invite you to swing in our hammocks, enjoy our traditional meals and experience life in the jungle, where you can see animals directly from you hammock!
The local enterprise, Berraco del Madidi is committed to sustainability and to benefiting our indigenous community, where most of the workers come from. Your visit supports the people of San Jose de Uchupiamonas.
