Plan Your Trip

Picture
Each Amazon tour with Berraco del Madidi is customized to our your interests. We have a wide variety of adventure activities to choose from, each led by an experienced and qualified guide.

Please tell us which adventure activities interest you and we will work together to plan a customized itinerary for your tour. If you would like to leave the planning to us, that is fine, too! We require a minimum stay of 2 nights/3 days for two guests but recommend longer trips to experience the range of activities and natural sites we have to offer. You can choose from guided hiking, fishing, survival skills, rafting, birdwatching, community visits and photography tours. Descriptions of each activity can be found under the Plan Your Trip section. Special tours can be arranged for biologists, birdwatchers, and wildlife photographers.

All adventure tours begin with a 6-hour scenic boat ride from Rurrenabaque to the Berraco del Madidi EcoCamp located deep in Madidi National Park. During the boat ride, you will have the opportunity to view the Amazon wildlife on the banks of the Tuichi River, where caiman, capybara, and tropical birds come to feed.  We will stop for lunch on the river’s edge before completing our journey in the afternoon.
