tucunare fishing program

There is a special program intended primarily for the fishing of the Tucunaré (peacock bass). The Tucunarés are sedentary fishes and usually they live in lakes and slow rivers, with warm water and sluggish currrents, such as the Rio Yata. They usually hide amongst trees and roots near the banks were the current is barely existent, and our guides know how to find likely spots.

They are highly competitive animals, and when you hook one it starts an incredible struggle of masters where patience, self-control and the art of fishing result in a unique catch impossible to forget for any fisherman.
